About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate EMT Specialist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As an EMT, you will play a vital role in providing emergency medical care to patients in need. Your expertise will be invaluable in assessing emergency situations, utilizing medical equipment, and communicating effectively with healthcare facilities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assess emergency situations to determine the best course of action and appropriate protocol.
  • Utilize medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, and suction devices, as well as administer intravenous fluids and perform CPR as required.
  • Develop and utilize triage skills to provide optimal efficiency during calls.
  • Provide patient care according to clinical protocols and safety requirements.
  • Lift and move patients as required to provide optimum care.
  • Communicate with receiving facilities to receive medical direction and provide critical information.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • CA Drivers' License
  • Ambulance Driver's License (from DMV)
  • Medical Examiner's Card or DL51 (from DMV)
  • State of California Paramedic License
  • CPR Card (American Heart Association ONLY, Health Care Provider)
  • ACLS Card (American Heart Association ONLY)
  • PALS (American Heart Association ONLY) or PEPP (required for Riverside, LA, and Ventura County applicants)
  • PHTLS or ITLS Preferred at time of hire (must be acquired within the first 6 months of employment for Riverside County)
  • Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy
  • ICS courses
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $25.31 - $55.15 DOE, based on 12 hour shifts and an average of 42 hours per week. Our comprehensive benefit options include medical, vision, dental, 401k, disability, FSA, HSA, EAP, vacation, and paid time off.
