Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Learning Center Specialist. This role involves implementing educational programs for 3-5 year old children, promoting their intellectual and physical development, and creating a safe and healthy learning environment.

• Develop and implement daily lesson plans that align with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework.
• Maintain a professional attitude and provide positive guidance to children, staff, and parents.
• Create a warm and welcoming environment that supports social and emotional development.
• Encourage family involvement and promote positive relationships between families and children.
• Monitor and document children's growth and development using data collection tools.

• Educational Requirements:

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent coursework and experience.

• Experience Requirements:

• One year of experience teaching preschool children (3-5 years).

• Computer proficiency and ability to maintain accurate records.

• Physical Requirements:

• Good physical condition, able to lift children, and participate in activities requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and jumping.

• Valid driver's license and access to transportation for Agency-related travel.

The salary range for this position is $14.33-$17.14 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a $500 new hire incentive after a satisfactory 90-day performance review.

Children present: 7:30-3:30
Children not present: 7:30-4:00 with a 30-minute lunch break.
