We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to join our Information Security and Risk team at Principal Financial Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our Data Protection Program, focusing on Data Security and Records Management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and mature a product, building product strategy and vision
  • Partner with technology teams and business stakeholders to optimize products within a portfolio
  • Drive outcomes while collaborating with architecture and technology teams
  • Provide product leadership and subject matter expertise to the data protection program
  • Analyze data and build metrics to advise and improve company's data security posture and records management practices
  • Build strong partnerships across enterprise teams, garnering support, trust, and engagement
Requirements
  • 6+ years of business, technology, or product management experience
  • Experience partnering with technology teams and business stakeholders
  • Ability to optimize products within a portfolio
  • Experience working in an agile, scrum environment
  • Superb communication skills, including the ability to establish relationships and influence business partners
  • Experience with Data Security and technology solutions, Encryption and Key Management Solutions, Data Security Controls and Configurations or Posture Management Solutions
  • Experience with Records Management, Data Lifecycle Management or Records Retention practices and solutions
  • Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, AZURE, GCP) is preferred
  • Data management experience
