Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift and pallet jack to efficiently move cargo within the warehouse.
- Utilize warehouse inventory logs to accurately identify and retrieve cargo for loading or unloading.
- Identify and prioritize cargo for loading or unloading, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
- Assist in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse, adhering to strict protocols and regulations.
- Process customer paperwork and shipping information with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Load and unload cargo from vehicles and trucks, ensuring proper handling and delivery.
- Prepare, palletize, and/or break down cargo as needed, adhering to company standards and procedures.
- Verify and ensure accurate paperwork related to cargo, maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Assure proper handling and delivery of cargo, meeting customer expectations and company standards.
- Clean and maintain the warehouse, disposing of waste and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Maintain safe operation of warehouse vehicles and equipment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Follow Hazmat and Security Requirements and Regulations, ensuring compliance and safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management, supporting the team and contributing to the company's success.
Requirements:
- Pass all pre-employment screenings, background checks, and government security background checks.
- Pass a drug test, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, demonstrating a strong foundation in education.
- Valid Driver's License, enabling safe transportation of cargo.
- Ability to obtain a valid airport I.D. badge, ensuring access to secure areas.
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 70lbs, meeting physical demands of the role.
- Basic computer skills, enabling efficient processing of paperwork and shipping information.
- Age 18 or older, meeting minimum age requirements.
- U.S. Citizen, ensuring compliance with government regulations.
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language, ensuring effective communication.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm, ensuring a standard work schedule.
