About the Role

As a Registered Nurse RN Psychiatric Adult, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients with emotional, behavioral, or mental health disorders. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring that each patient receives the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify needs and develop effective care plans
  • Provide direct nursing care, including administering medications and supervising non-licensed nursing staff
  • Participate in treatment team conferences to discuss patient progress and revise care plans as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families, promoting empowerment and self-advocacy

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current State of practice RN licensure
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • BLS certification
  • Previous clinical experience in psychiatric nursing (preferably inpatient)
