Alumni Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Specialist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer, ensuring accurate and safe administration of doses.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators and CT simulators.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
- Provide excellent patient care and communication, addressing patient concerns and needs in a compassionate and professional manner.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of radiation oncology principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
