Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Beverage Server to join our team at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles. As a Beverage Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve beverages to guests in a quick, efficient, and courteous manner
  • Perform side work to maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in assigned work areas
  • Familiarize yourself with cocktails and prices to ensure proper ordering and expedition of beverage orders
  • Suggest and upsell cocktails to guests
  • Observe and anticipate guests' needs to fill any additional requests or needs
  • Serve tables in proper order of arrival, with exceptions in common sense situations or as ordered by your supervisor
  • Inform your immediate supervisor if a critical supply or service situation arises
  • Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Follow all cash handling procedures as listed in the Food & Beverage Manual
  • Able to communicate sufficiently with team members and supervisors
  • Must have cash handling experience
  • Must be able to handle a flexible schedule
  • Must be able to successfully complete a TIPS (responsible service of alcohol), RU21 training class, and required compliance courses
Additional Requirements
  • Possession of, and ability to obtain and maintain, a valid driver's license within assigned state of employment and other jurisdictions
  • Must successfully pass a background check
  • Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening
  • Must be 21 years of age
