Pizzeria da Laura is a dynamic and fast-paced pizzeria and restaurant in Berkeley, serving a variety of pizza styles made fresh in-house and by hand. We are seeking an experienced pizza cook who is eager to learn new techniques and contribute to our team's success.

• Quality and Expectations: Understand and maintain the high standards of our establishment, ensuring that all food and products meet our quality expectations.
• Team Supervision: Supervise the Prep Cook Team during preparation and service periods, keeping the Chefs informed of their progress.
• Work Scheduling: Prioritize daily work schedules with fellow Line Cooks, delegating tasks to Prep Cook and Externs as needed.
• Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment, ensuring all areas are clean and organized at all times.
• Menu Collaboration: Collaborate with the team on menu changes, including specials and seasonal offerings.
• Food Preparation: Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to our recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
• Team Training: Assist in training and mentoring team members to help them achieve their professional goals.
• Paperwork and Meetings: Prepare all required paperwork and attend scheduled employee meetings, bringing suggestions for improvement.
• Shift Preparation: Ensure all necessary items are in the restaurant at the start of the shift, communicating any needs in a timely manner.
