Position Overview:
Capital Home Care, Inc. is in search of dedicated and proficient Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to enhance our expanding healthcare workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and assist with essential daily activities including feeding, bathing, and dressing.
- Monitor and support patients with their nutritional, hydration, exercise, hygiene, and other daily living requirements.
- Prepare and serve meals to patients, offering assistance with eating and drinking as needed.
- Assist in bathing, grooming, and dressing patients to ensure their comfort and dignity.
- Reposition and turn patients who are bedridden; aid those requiring assistance with mobility or transportation in wheelchairs according to individual needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterility in patient rooms and living areas, including changing soiled bedding and bedpans.
- Record daily vital signs and monitor patient eating habits and bodily functions, promptly reporting any significant changes to nursing staff.
- Facilitate the transport of medical equipment in and out of patient rooms as required.
- Respond to calls for assistance, providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations and protocols.
