Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Middle School Teacher to join our team at Gilbert PK-8 School. As a Middle School Teacher, you will be responsible for cultivating students' interest in education and development, grading assignments, evaluating students' progress, and planning educational activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and issue educational content, including notes, tests, and assignments.
  • Supervise classes to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Organize supplies and resources for lectures and presentations.
  • Deliver personalized instruction to each student, encouraging interactive learning.
  • Plan and implement educational activities and events.
  • Ensure a clean and orderly classroom and effectively manage the classroom.
  • Prepare and distribute periodic progress reports and semester report cards.
  • Attend parent-teacher meetings and communicate effectively with parents/guardians.
  • Evaluate and document students' progress.
  • Allocate and grade homework, assignments, and tests.
  • Effectively use county-approved technology platforms to provide instruction, assignments, communications, and feedback.
  • Monitor students in settings other than the classroom as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in teaching or a relevant field.
  • Experience as a teacher is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of teaching methods and legal educational procedures.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-organized with excellent leadership abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • State attendance incentive ($500) provided for those who use 4 or fewer days of personal leave each school year.
