Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify and mitigate cyber threats
  • Design and develop defensive and offensive operations in cyberspace
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance cyber operations capabilities
  • Develop and implement novel approaches to manipulate new technologies
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the field of cybersecurity
Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • Fluent in one or more high-level languages (e.g., Java, C#/.NET, Python, JavaScript, C++)
  • Experience in tactics and techniques to perform cyber-related forensics of devices and networks
  • Foundation in advancing cyber operations capabilities (including collection, processing, attribution, and geolocation of systems and subjects)
  • Experience in novel approaches to manipulate new technologies (blockchain, deception cryptography, and misattribution)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply systems engineering principles to complex challenges
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across multiple organizations and engineering disciplines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Expertise in reverse engineering techniques for embedded systems
  • Demonstrated interest in complex enterprise thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate complex topics to sponsors, MITRE leadership, and staff in an understandable manner
