**Responsibilities and Duties:**

  • Operate a large box truck safely and efficiently to transport donations to and from donation sites.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all donors and customers, ensuring a positive experience with Texas Thrift.
  • Build safe and efficient truckloads of donations using company operational standards.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of donation box sites and routes for donation collections.
  • Work safely and efficiently in loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
  • Regularly work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and wet weather.

**Qualifications:**

  • Must be at least 25 years of age.
  • 2+ years of experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle.
  • Valid state driver's license required.
  • Must meet Department of Transportation medical requirements by passing a DOT physical.
  • Applicant's Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must meet company insurability requirements.
  • Applicant must be willing to submit to a background check and hair follicle drug screen.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Capable of bending, stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs and in and out of a truck frequently.

**Education and Experience:**

  • High School Degree, GED, or equivalent work experience.
