Medical Support Professional

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work as a Nursing Assistant at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care and support in a variety of settings
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor patients' physical and emotional status, reporting any concerns to nursing staff
- Operate medical equipment and assist with procedures, such as phlebotomy and wound care
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients and families, providing emotional support and education
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of college credit preferred
- Experience: 6 months of general experience or completion of an intensive training program
- English Language Proficiency: Fluent spoken and written English required
