Job Summary

Lutheran Services Florida is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Services Licensed Practitioner to provide mental health assessment and ongoing clinical services to Unaccompanied Children referred to the Dream Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical intake assessments and provide ongoing clinical and crisis interventions for clients
  • Screen UCs for human trafficking concerns and collaborate with the case management team to provide a clinical perspective in assessment, service provision, and discharge of UCs within ORR-mandated timeframes
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with UC clients and provide clinical expertise in sponsor reunification cases
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all clinical activities in accordance with ORR policy and stay updated on DHS and UC/ORR policy and operating procedures
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a related field
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience, including work with vulnerable immigrant or migrant populations
  • Experience in a residential facility and fluency in Spanish and English
