Solar Mechanical Foreman

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Solar Foreman to join our team at AUI Partners. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of various mechanical systems and components of solar and renewable energy systems on active construction sites.

• Participate in and oversee the layout, assembly, and installation of various solar array components required for electrical collection and distribution of solar/renewable energy production plant.
• Ensure the safe execution of tasks, including above and below ground cabling installations, testing, terminations, and QAQC of various systems and components.
• Commission and troubleshoot power and communications systems throughout the plant.
• Work with and support mechanical activities associated with equipment installation.
• Assess work location for tasks and prepare and present Job Hazard Analysis for crew safety.
• Identify and mitigate hazards for crew and equipment safety.
• Manage housekeeping standards, maintain clean work areas and site.
• Safe use of power tools, electrical test instruments, and other necessary equipment.
• Use Personal Protective Equipment at all times.

• Minimum 4 years' experience with Mechanical installations in the solar/renewable industry.
• Minimum 4 years of verifiable Mechanical experience.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Experience reading drawings, specifications, and applying information to installation.
• Reading and writing skills appropriate to communicate with customers and team members when required.
• Computer literacy for documentation of materials, planning, and QAQC tasks.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Ability to do physical and repetitive tasks for extended durations.
