Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a Physical Therapist with our company, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students in the Lawrence, MA school district.

Job Description

As a Physical Therapist with ProCare Therapy, you will be responsible for providing essential therapy services to students in a dynamic school environment. Your duties will include:

  • Delivering specialized physical therapy services designed for a school environment.
  • Evaluating and analyzing students' physical capabilities and limitations to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Creating and executing individualized therapy plans to address each student's specific needs and objectives.
  • Working with teachers, parents, and school staff to incorporate therapy goals into students' educational plans.
  • Conducting therapy sessions to improve students' mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
  • Monitoring and recording student progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary for continuous improvement.
  • Providing guidance and support to school staff and parents on ways to enhance students' physical development and independence.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Staying updated on the latest advancements and best practices in pediatric physical therapy.
  • Following professional and ethical standards as per state regulations and school policies.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Experience in school or pediatric environments is preferred.
  • A valid PT license and teaching certifications for Massachusetts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and team members.
  • A commitment to fostering student growth and well-being.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $50-67 and a range of benefits, including:

Interview Process

The interview process will consist of:

  1. An initial screening call with a ProCare Therapy recruiter.
  2. A virtual interview with the school district.
  3. An offer, typically within 24-48 hours post-interview.
