Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed stress assessments for various interior elements and amenities in cutting-edge aircraft models.
  • Examine engineering models, execute load computations, and compile thorough stress documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the structural engineering team to secure necessary approvals.
  • Design tailored cabinetry, integrate entertainment systems, and oversee seating arrangements.
  • Implement modifications to the airframe as required.
  • Evaluate aircraft decompression scenarios and analyze floor load distributions.
  • Employ both classical hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis techniques utilizing FEMAP and NASTRAN software.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations concerning FAA regulations and the STC process.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and CATIA V5 for design evaluations.
  • Expertise in FEMAP and NASTRAN is essential.
  • Excellent communication abilities and proficiency in technical report writing.
