Job Title: Vascular Sonographer

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations of the cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vessels to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound examinations to assess blood flow, identify blockages, and detect blood clots, tumors, aneurysms, and other blood vessel abnormalities.
  • Determine if angioplasty is a viable treatment option and assess the outcome of a bypass or graft of blood vessels.
  • Monitor blood flow and maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Participate in relevant continuing education programs and maintain a high level of patient care and service excellence.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years in vascular sonography.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or registry eligible (required within 1 year of hire).
  • Advanced certification in area(s) of specialty according to facility need.
  • CPR (by the American Heart Association) and BLS, ACLS - American Heart Association.
