John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU Nurse II to join our team.

About the Role:

The PACU Nurse II will provide high-quality patient care in the post-anesthesia care unit, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized patient care, considering physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, language barriers, age, teaching needs, and readiness to learn.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Utilize autonomous practice, demonstrating competence in OR routines, techniques, and established protocols.
  • Anticipate professional responsibilities, accepting accountability for professional action and utilizing critical thinking skills in daily practice.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, co-workers, and physicians, maintaining positive working relationships.
Qualifications:
  • California RN License
  • Successful mastery of nursing skills and knowledge related to a RN II position
  • CPR
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Basic EKG Course (within six (6) months of employment)
What We Offer:

Competitive pay rate: $74.03

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors, including qualifications and experience.
