Job Type: Contract
Location: Onsite role in Winthrop, MA
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our team at Bernard Nickels & Associates. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our in-office audio visual systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV equipment and systems
- Provide technical support and training to end-users
- Maintain and repair AV equipment and systems
- Develop and implement operational procedures and performance measures
- Support C-suite executives with technical and strategic needs
- Communicate effectively with leadership, clients, and vendors
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in technology customer support, emphasizing technical infrastructure and exponential technologies
- Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting AV integrated technologies and repairing computer systems
- Technical proficiency in networking, Windows, Apple iOS, Crestron systems, collaboration tools, AR/VR systems, and other in-room technologies
- Executive presence, strong written and oral presentation skills, and ability to follow standards, processes, and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent education or professional experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in audio/visual and technical innovation methodologies
- Experience in exponential technology applications, data analysis and visualization, or other technical expertise
- Energy, Resources, and Industrials industry familiarity (e.g. Oil, Gas, Chemicals, Power, Utilities, Renewables, Manufacturing and/or Construction, etc.)

- A competitive hourly rate of $30 to $35 per hour
