Job Title: Audio Visual Technician

Job Type: Contract

Location: Onsite role in Winthrop, MA

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our team at Bernard Nickels & Associates. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our in-office audio visual systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV equipment and systems
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users
  • Maintain and repair AV equipment and systems
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and performance measures
  • Support C-suite executives with technical and strategic needs
  • Communicate effectively with leadership, clients, and vendors

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in technology customer support, emphasizing technical infrastructure and exponential technologies
  • Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting AV integrated technologies and repairing computer systems
  • Technical proficiency in networking, Windows, Apple iOS, Crestron systems, collaboration tools, AR/VR systems, and other in-room technologies
  • Executive presence, strong written and oral presentation skills, and ability to follow standards, processes, and procedures
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent education or professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in audio/visual and technical innovation methodologies
  • Experience in exponential technology applications, data analysis and visualization, or other technical expertise
  • Energy, Resources, and Industrials industry familiarity (e.g. Oil, Gas, Chemicals, Power, Utilities, Renewables, Manufacturing and/or Construction, etc.)
