Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound examinations with precision and expertise, adhering to established protocols.
  • Provide training and support to new team members and students, enhancing their technical skills and understanding of departmental standards.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring it operates at peak performance.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging protocols based on patient needs.
  • Ensure the imaging environment is safe and conducive to patient comfort.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and continuous education to stay updated on best practices and advancements in ultrasound technology.

Qualifications:

  • Formal education equivalent to an Associate's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography.
  • Certifications: American Heart Association CPR Certification, ARDMS, and RVT Certification.
