Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Officer to join our team at Tohono O'odham Nation Health Care. As a Medical Officer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and treatment in various clinical settings.

About the Role

  • You will work under the supervision of the Clinical Director and provide medical care to patients in ambulatory clinics, inpatient settings, and emergency departments.
  • You will interview and examine patients, review medical history, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • You will make preliminary diagnoses, recognize rare symptoms, and develop treatment plans accordingly.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide medical care to patients in various clinical settings.

  4. Direct, prescribe, or provide treatment regimens for patients.

Requirements

  • A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completed an approved internship and possess a permanent, unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State or District of Columbia.
  • One to two years of professional experience beyond the completion of formal internship training or equivalent experience.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
