About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Common Spaces Department Assistant to join our team at Harvard University. This role will provide critical support to our Common Spaces department, ensuring effective event planning, coordination, and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with event planning, coordination, and execution
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records of events, attendance, and vendor information
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful event execution
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of event planning principles and practices
Estimated Salary Range:

$58,000 - $68,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
