Horticulture Specialist

Estimated salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year

We are seeking a skilled Horticulturist to join our team at GGP Parks LLC. As a key member of our horticulture department, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of our gardens and landscapes.

• Maintain the overall appearance and health of our gardens and landscapes through regular pruning, weeding, and other landscape maintenance tasks.
• Conduct plant health care practices, including scouting for diseases and insects, applying pesticides and fertilizers as needed, and watering plants correctly.
• Utilize and maintain our irrigation system, ensuring that it is functioning properly and efficiently.
• Communicate with colleagues and management to ensure that all horticulture operations are running smoothly.
• Train and guide volunteers and temporary assistants to safely help with tasks as needed.

• An Associate's degree in horticulture or 2 years of experience in horticulture or a related field.
• A valid driver's license and ability to obtain Oklahoma pesticide license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and the public.
