Position Overview

Voter Engagement Representatives

Compensation: $22-24/hr + bonuses

Work Schedule: Full-time & Part-time

As we prepare for an important electoral period, individuals from diverse backgrounds are uniting to enhance voter registration efforts. This is an opportunity to contribute to the democratic process and ensure that every voice is acknowledged on Election Day.

This position provides valuable experience in various domains, including:

Compensation Details: Starting pay for canvassers is $22/hour, while leadership roles begin at $24/hour. Additional benefits include overtime pay, driver bonuses, shift bonuses, paid training, sick leave, and referral bonuses.

Responsibilities of the Voter Engagement Representative:

  • Interact with the public in a courteous and respectful manner.
  • Convey a persuasive campaign message and gather comprehensive survey responses from voters.
  • Engage in training sessions to enhance outreach capabilities.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and compliance with health guidelines.

  • Committed to progressive values and the promotion of democracy.
  • Excellent communication skills with a genuine interest in engaging with diverse individuals.
  • Dedicated and motivated to connect with as many people as possible.
  • Open to new experiences and eager to develop campaign-related skills.
  • Culturally aware and capable of respectfully interacting with colleagues and the community.
  • Previous canvassing experience is not a prerequisite.
