- Dental Hygienist License: Current dental hygienist license in IL and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification: Hold current CPR certification.
- Experience with Advanced Technology: Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to Learn and Grow: A desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
- Ability to Perform Essential Duties: Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.
- Prolonged Sitting and Standing: Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
