Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Sales Associate to join our team at Weis Markets. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality produce and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandising and Display: Maintain a visually appealing and well-stocked produce department, including rotating stock to ensure freshness and accuracy of pricing and signage.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving concerns in a polite and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, unloading, checking-in, breaking-down, and storing deliveries, as well as maintaining accurate inventory logs.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following cleaning schedules and department guidelines, and adhering to all health and OSHA requirements.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with co-workers and superiors to ensure smooth operation of the department and store.
Requirements
  • Education: Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Experience: No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow with our company is essential.
