We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing. As an essential member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury, and ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.

About the Role

This is a 13-week contract opportunity with a reputable healthcare facility in St Petersburg, Florida. You will work 40 hours per week, 8 hours a day, on evenings. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the principles of MRI to safely and efficiently operate MRI scanners
  • Positioning patients and coils on a table that slides inside the MRI scanner
  • Injecting contrast media as required
  • Setting appropriate technical parameters, operating MRI scanners, and related equipment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid state radiology registration as required by state law
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology

The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
