Job Summary

Prisma Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the CV and Monitored Surgery department at Greenville Memorial Hospital. As a Nurse Residency Program participant, you will have the opportunity to develop your nursing skills and knowledge in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect patient data and complete required forms with appropriate responses according to unit standards.
  • Develop a plan of care based on nursing process and which incorporates the plans of other disciplines and continuing care needs.
  • Provide care that conforms to accepted practice standards and demonstrates understanding of age-related characteristics and needs of patients served.
  • Act as an advocate and coordinator of patient care with other health care personnel and evaluates patient care measures instituted.
  • Comply with hospital expectations to meet staffing demands based on patient care needs and complies with policies addressing safe working conditions.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing program approved by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing required.
  • Licensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina.
  • BLS required.
