Job Title: Carpenter - Molding Concrete Structures

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team at PLW Waterworks in Georgetown, TX. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling forms for molding concrete structures, ensuring high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Construct and assemble forms for molding concrete structures using various materials and techniques
  • Work with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines
  • Inspect and check forms for accuracy and completeness during concrete placement
  • Assist in stripping forms after concrete is set
  • Install miscellaneous materials in erecting concrete structures
  • Prepare for slip-forming traffic rails and median barriers
  • Install permanent metal deck forms
  • Work with hand tools and power tools

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Physical stamina to perform strenuous tasks on construction sites
  • Manual dexterity to handle tools and materials
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Estimated Salary Range:$55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience
