Role Summary:
The Clinical Educator is responsible for providing leadership and expertise in clinical practice, education, program development, and consultation to ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence.
This position involves utilizing problem-solving techniques and the nursing process to enhance patient outcomes and meet program objectives. Strong communication skills are essential for establishing positive relationships within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver real-time problem-solving to encourage critical thinking.
- Exhibit advanced educational and teaching skills throughout the learning process.
- Coordinate the creation of relevant materials to support staff education.
- Independently plan, develop, present, and assess educational programs in collaboration with the education department and departmental leaders.
- Design, implement, and evaluate training for new and experienced preceptors.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Full-time, Onsite
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing required.
- Specialization in Nursing Education preferred.
- Mandatory experience in Emergency Department nursing.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current BLS-Healthcare Provider certification.
- Preferred recent experience in hospital education and training.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
