Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Caring Place Healthcare Group. As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day housekeeping functions, including cleaning all areas of the facility, sweeping, vacuuming, removing trash, and polishing furnishings and fixtures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned and in accordance with daily work assignments.
  • Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, and other areas of the facility.
  • Collect and sort soiled laundry, linen, garments, and other items, and place them in appropriate containers or assigned areas.
  • Sort, count, and wash soiled laundry, linen, garments, and other items, and fold, count, stack, hang, and distribute clean items to residents daily and/or as instructed.
  • Interact with patients, residents, families, and other staff to provide enthusiastic, timely responses to inquiries, concerns, and/or needs related to care and service.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move equipment in excess of fifty pounds.
