Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time sales associate to join our team at our El Paso store. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine jewelry and/or watch sales, or other luxury sales experience. As a sales associate, you will be responsible for:
- Developing authentic relationships with customers by assessing their needs and making personalized product recommendations
- Cultivating an in-depth knowledge of our products and providing product knowledge, features, and benefits to customers
- Connecting with existing and potential customers and maintaining customer information using our supported technology
- Inspecting and cleaning customers' jewelry and consulting on repairs for jewelry and timepieces
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A goal-oriented and sales-driven approach with a passion to exceed
- A positive, enthusiastic, and team-spirited work style, exhibiting our core values at all times
- A commitment to outstanding customer service
- Strong attention to detail and high integrity
- Flexibility with work schedule, including holidays
- Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is required, and bilingual skills are a plus
- A minimum of 2 years of selling experience in a retail environment, or a combination of 3+ years of customer service experience and education
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
What We Offer
As a part-time sales associate, you will be eligible for health and welfare benefits (provided you meet the minimum work requirement of 20 hours/week), sales bonus, monthly incentives, and SPIFFs. You will also receive employee merchandise discounts, paid training, and paid time off, including vacation, holidays, bereavement, and jury duty. Our paid training includes certification from the Gemological Institute of America (following completion of one year of service time). In addition to our medical, dental, and vision insurance, we offer a 401(k) plan with a company match.
