Wide Effect is seeking a skilled Welder to work in our heavy manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with open table fit-up and welding, as well as the ability to interpret structural drawings and safety protocols.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Safety First: Execute all tasks in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to established safety protocols and regulations.
  2. Reading and Comprehension: Understand and interpret welding instructions and structural drawings to ensure accurate assembly and welding of components.
  3. Quality Assurance: Verify the correct quantity and quality of welded parts, maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time position working 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
  • The successful candidate will be required to perform various welding processes, including GMAW, Flux, Sub Arc, etc.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years (2) of experience as an open table Fitter, with a proven track record in welding and fitting large-scale components.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in heavy manufacturing in a job shop environment is a plus.
