Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including cabling, routers, switches, and other equipment.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot network issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and maintenance teams, to ensure seamless data center operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets quality standards, adhering to industry best practices and company policies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work performed, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in data center installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in network infrastructure, cabling, and troubleshooting; knowledge of data center infrastructure technologies; ability to read and understand blueprints and building documentation.
  • Certifications: OSHA 10 certification desired; BICSI and industry certifications a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Primarily walking, standing, and bending for extended periods; ability to lift and carry heavy equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Visual Requirements: Ability to read and understand blueprints and building documentation.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Data center environment with exposure to electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Work Schedule: Flexible schedule with occasional overtime required.
