Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Custodian Specialist to join our team at the Santa Rosa Silvercrest Residence in Santa Rosa, CA. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our building and outside facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility, including floors, walls, windows, and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and repairing minor issues with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems
  • Handle all apartment turnovers, working closely with residents and other teams to ensure seamless transitions
  • Manage and respond to work orders in a timely manner, keeping accurate records and collaborating with vendors as needed
  • Conduct daily ground inspections to identify areas for improvement and maintain high standards of cleanliness and upkeep
  • Be available for after-hours on-call duty, responding promptly to any issues or concerns that may arise
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, maintaining professional relationships with senior residents and colleagues alike

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in general maintenance/custodial work, preferably in a residential setting
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor issues with various systems
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
