Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Converdia Health Staffing. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonate to adolescent. Responsibilities:

• Provide routine and complex respiratory care procedures using a wide variety of techniques and equipment.
• Ensure that care meets quality standards established by the hospital, department, and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain all skills and knowledge sufficient to provide safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate care to all ages of patients.
• Participate in executing quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program.
• 2 years of experience as a licensed respiratory therapist.
• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric critical care experience.
• Level III or IV NICU experience strongly preferred.
• Active, Permanent State of Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the NBRC.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association.
• Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
• American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) membership preferred.
• NRP preferred.
