We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Painter to join our team at JLL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying paints to various surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Apply corner bead, tape, patch, sand, strip, wash, and prime surfaces
- Inspect damaged surfaces for remodeling and fill nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other filler
- Smooth rough spots on walls and ceilings
- Prepare, prime, and paint interior and exterior surfaces
- Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as-found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations
- Perform general handyman work, including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, and repairing doors
- Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment
- Escalate problems or issues to Manager in a timely manner
- Attend work and safety meetings as required
- Complete Hazard Assessments as necessary
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas
- Previous experience in painting within an industrial or commercial environment
- Proficiency with painting tools and equipment
- Ability to read and adhere to safety labels and warnings
- Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking
- Push/pull or move/lift equipment, supplies, parts
- Manual dexterity and mobility
- Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
