About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Painter to join our team at JLL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying paints to various surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply corner bead, tape, patch, sand, strip, wash, and prime surfaces
  • Inspect damaged surfaces for remodeling and fill nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other filler
  • Smooth rough spots on walls and ceilings
  • Prepare, prime, and paint interior and exterior surfaces
  • Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as-found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations
  • Perform general handyman work, including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, and repairing doors
  • Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment
  • Escalate problems or issues to Manager in a timely manner
  • Attend work and safety meetings as required
  • Complete Hazard Assessments as necessary
  • Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas
Requirements
  • Previous experience in painting within an industrial or commercial environment
  • Proficiency with painting tools and equipment
  • Ability to read and adhere to safety labels and warnings
  • Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking
  • Push/pull or move/lift equipment, supplies, parts
  • Manual dexterity and mobility
  • Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
