As an A&P Mechanic, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the maintenance and repair of aircraft, adhering to safety and performance standards. This role involves conducting inspections, diagnosing issues, and executing repairs in compliance with FAA regulations and company protocols.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various aircraft, focusing on annual inspections and general A&P duties.
- Perform detailed inspections and diagnostics to identify issues, ensuring aircraft safety and regulatory compliance.
- Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Accurately complete documentation and maintenance records in a timely manner.
- Work autonomously, maintaining high-quality standards without direct supervision.
- Effectively communicate with team members and other departments to promote efficient workflow and safety adherence.
- Preferred FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
- Strong understanding of airframe and powerplant mechanics.
- Ability to work independently without direct oversight.
- Possession of a complete tool set and reliable transportation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by the U.S. government, eligible for export control, ITAR, and/or clearance.
- Current full-time residency in the USA is required.
- Competitive hourly wage starting at $20/hour, with potential to increase to $25/hour based on experience and skills.
- Opportunity to work alongside an FAA Subject Matter Expert and seasoned A&P Mechanic.
- Paid Time Off.
- Flexible working hours from 8:30 AM to 4 PM on weekdays.
