Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pain Management team at Northside Hospital Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to individuals with acute and chronic pain conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized pain management plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Administer medications and interventions to manage pain and improve patient outcomes
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify pain-related needs and develop effective treatment strategies
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance pain management practices and patient satisfaction
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the State of Georgia
  • Minimum of two years of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting
  • Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and other unit-specific certifications
  • Procedural experience and IV insertion skills preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Procedural or Operating Room experience, including pre-op, OR, PACU, Interventional Pain, Endovascular, Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy, and/or Labor and Delivery
  • Solid experience in Med/Surg, Ortho, Neuro, Oncology
Work Environment
  • 7:30a-4:30p work hours
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
