Maintenance Inspector

**Job Summary:**

Industry leading, very reputable and well-established manufacturing company is seeking a promotable Maintenance Inspector in the Gainesville, FL area. This is a non-remote position, requiring full-time work in a manufacturing plant. The role comes with a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000, plus a 15% annual target bonus and relocation assistance. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct systematic inspections of all assigned plant equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze data collected, completed work orders, and process data to initiate appropriate maintenance work orders, including a detailed scope of work.
  • Manage and drive the Predictive Maintenance (PPM) Program to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance of execution work done on and off-site, and of materials received, to meet industry standards.
  • Support the Plant Safety Program by identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
  • Document and monitor equipment history files to inform maintenance decisions.
  • Provide technical support for plant activities and maintenance functions, including coaching and mentoring plant employees.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Contribute to budget preparation, forecast updating, and compliance, as well as assigned administrative duties.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum AA degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance, with a focus on analytical skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in computer skills.
  • Current training and experience using Advanced Detection Techniques (Vibration Analysis, Oil Analysis, Thermo-graphics, NDT) is essential.
