About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join our team at Ernest Health. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Dust, mop, and clean various surfaces and equipment, including medicine cabinets, furniture, metals, mirrors, and more.
  • Vacuum blinds, screens, and vents to ensure a clean and dust-free environment.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties, such as replenishing supplies and sterilizing rooms after isolation.
  • Integrate our hospital's mission and Guiding Principles into daily practice.
Requirements
  • Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare environmental services procedures is essential.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
