The Apple Services Engineering team is at the forefront of integrating technology and creativity, playing a crucial role in enhancing user experiences across various platforms. This position focuses on managing the data engineering initiatives that support the Analytics Engineering domain, specifically within the realms of Billings, Content Metadata, and Subscriptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the project management of data engineering efforts, ensuring the development and enhancement of data pipelines.
- Coordinate multiple ongoing projects, managing scope, requirements, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Analytics, and Quality Assurance.
- Drive the execution of Commerce Analytics Engineering programs, managing dependencies and complex project interrelations.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or related fields.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale data engineering and analytics projects, with a strong understanding of business and data dynamics.
- High emotional intelligence, capable of engaging with stakeholders and influencing without direct authority.
- Familiarity with analytics data collection technologies and big data tools is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in managing cross-functional projects and agile methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to various organizational levels.
- Passion for data and a strong understanding of data infrastructure technologies is a plus.
Education
A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering is preferred.
