About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Robotics Software Engineer to lead deployments with our customers and contribute to the development of our AI autonomy software. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating autonomy software, traveling to customer sites to execute deployments, and interfacing with customers to provide support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and improve autonomous mobile robotic systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and fix robot autonomy software to ensure seamless operation and minimize downtime.
  • Create comprehensive documentation around system use and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Calibrate sensors and other system components to ensure accurate data collection and processing.
  • Interface with customers to provide support and guidance on the use and maintenance of our robotic systems.
  • Travel to US-based customer sites to provide field support and execute deployments as required.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the company to drive innovation and growth in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in robotics, computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or other relevant engineering disciplines.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on industry experience in robotic system operation, testing, or field deployments in robotics, aerospace, or automotive.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, and/or C programming languages.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with customers and team members.
  • Hands-on experience designing, prototyping, or working with mechanical or mechatronic systems is a plus.
