The Pacifica Center seeks a highly skilled Mental Health Counselor to provide academic support services to students. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work and experience working in special education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ERMHS assessments to identify mental health concerns and develop strategies to address them.
  • Offer individual, group, and family counseling sessions to support students' social-emotional development and mental health.
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to design and implement programs that promote academic success and social-emotional well-being.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community resources to provide students with access to additional support services.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work from an accredited graduate program.
  • Pupil Personnel Credential.
  • Experience working in special education.
