Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of tax accountants to ensure efficient and effective tax preparation and planning services.
  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and minimizing tax liabilities.
  • Research and analyze tax issues and provide recommendations to clients, staying up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Manage client relationships and communicate with clients regarding tax matters, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Assist with tax audits and other tax-related matters, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA certification required.
  • 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
  • 2+ years of experience in people management.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with tax software, such as ProSystem fx Tax or similar programs.
