Configuration Specialist

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for preparing computer software, applications, images, and systems for use by end users. The Configuration Technician will work under direct supervision to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Unbox and prepare Chromebooks for deployment
Configure Chromebooks, including connecting to Wi-Fi, enrolling, and registering in Google Console
Update BIOS settings
Assist in developing and implementing configuration procedures
Prioritize responsibilities and ensure timely completion of tasks

Requirements:

High school completion or equivalent
Knowledge of computer configuration and peripheral equipment
Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions
Good attention to detail and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

This role is performed primarily in a standard warehouse environment and may involve exposure to moderate noise levels from high-speed computer printers and other equipment. Must have own, reliable transportation to job site and maintain reliable attendance at work site during assigned hours.
