Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background and expertise in all aspects of adult cardiac surgery, including heart and lung procurement, organ assessment and resuscitation, ex-vivo organ perfusion, ECMO cannulation and management, and cardiovascular surgery.

Requirements
  • Cardiac surgical experience preferred but not required
  • Expertise in lung and heart procurement and transplantation
  • Expertise in ex-vivo heart and lung perfusion and normothermic regional perfusion
  • Expertise in ECMO cannulation and management
  • Eligible for Minnesota State Licensure
  • Interest and ability in education, simulation, and research
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
Qualifications
  • Board-certified / eligible in Cardiovascular Surgery
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota
