Job DescriptionAt IHOP - Johnson City (Peoples St), we're seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing all menu items according to our recipes, maintaining product quality and presentation, and ensuring a clean work environment. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen will be essential to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare all menu items according to our recipes and specifications.
  • Maintain product quality and presentation.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Cross-train and learn other stations and positions in the kitchen.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the casual restaurant industry is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
  • Current food certification that meets state requirements is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to withstand comfortably the physical demands of a restaurant environment.
