Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical guidance and support to patients, including medication therapy management, disease state management, and immunizations.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and optimal health outcomes.
- Operate a retail pharmacy, including dispensing medications, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices, laws, and regulations, and apply this knowledge to ensure compliance and excellence in patient care.
Requirements:
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
